Serpent Mother, a rather large kinetic piece of fire-art by the San Francisco Flaming Lotus Girls is getting ready for her world tour, which will bring her to Robodock Festival in Amsterdam mid-September.Right now all the individual segments of Serpent Mother are being polished to make her all-shiny at the Boxshop, about which I will post more when I got the video processed that I took of Charly Gadeken giving a brief history of the place.
The sculpture is also highly interactive - fire reacting to buttons pushed on the body and head movements directed by a joystick ...
