Freudbot Launch Imminent

In less than 24hrs Freudbot is going to be officially presented at WerkeugH, Vienna.
The "mobile therapist" - a chatbot communicating via text-messages he sends to his conversation-partner's telephone - was trained during the course of 2006 by SHIFZ in cooperation with Russian media artist (and SHIFZ-blog guest-blogger) Sergey Teterin.
Freudbot associatively answers incoming messages, now and then throwing in an original quote by Sigmund Freud.

The event starts at 7pm - Before and after the presentation there will be a musical set by Oskar Fischer and Kilian Schrader.
