The ingredients for this fascinating experiment are 1 superconducting ceramic disc, about 1" diameter, a styrofoam container and one 3/16" NdFeB magnet.
Alas I lack the superconducting disc, so recreating it is to be considered a future task.
Watching the magnet float in thin air after the ceramic disc is cooled down to superconductive state in this video on YouTube makes me think it might be even more fun than tinkering the World's Simplest Electric Motor.
