Two artists I admire have chosen to valorize the Art Yard Sale: Kal Spelletich and Martin Reiter have each put up a work of theirs. Mobile Scratcher features a claw that scratches like fingernails on a chalkboard. It comes in a beautiful vintage suitcase.
Techne 1957-1999 on the other hand just sits there on the wall, solid and erect.
While Kal's Scratcher is located in SF, California, Martin Reiters piece is with me here, in Vienna.
